Intensely perfumed, the Zibibbo wine completely discloses the typical Mediterranean characteristics of the grapes carrying its own name.
Yellow undertones and sunny shades turning into golden, blend with hints of raisins, almonds and apricot and distinguishing marks of citrus fruits; the taste is strongly sweet, very aromatic and persistent.
This wine’s ideal match, in desserts, is the Sicilian traditional pastry, the “cannoli” and the “cassata” or almonds sweets, but it could be appreciated as an aperitif too with blue cheeses. Serve it cold, between 8 and 12 degrees.
