Despite the Sicilian wine age-old tradition, the definitive affirming of Sicilian table wines is a recent phenomenon.

Until a few decades ago, just a little part of all the entire production were bottled exported outside the Island; instead, significant quantities of bulk wine were introduced into the national and international market, used as blended wine thanks to its high degrees.

Nowadays, “Nero d’Avola” became synonymous of Sicily all over the world, together with other typical white berry vines: Insolia, Catarratto, Grillo. As well as the autochthonous vines, many other international ones are cultivated in the endless Sicilian vineyards, all with great quality results and different features compared to the same vines somewhere else cultivated.

The climate, sunny and mild, the different soils, the great oenological experience and passion make Sicily a unique land for its vocation.
